Rooted

Covid 19. The borders around us changed, some closed and new ones emerged. Our human contact buffered by limitations, distance, and masks. I found myself making roots; I connected root to root into a growing root system. Something in this process kept me in flow with my thoughts and self. Through this period our personal and physical space became smaller and we were confined by new restricting rules, our thoughts and minds continued to be free, to remember, to dream and to hope… I kept thinking that these thoughts are like plant roots that long before their sprout appears on the ground they are growing, constantly pushing the earth around them, impressing them deep on earth, like our memories are impressed deep in our souls.
